Luna: Tia! Tia! Are you writing something about me?
Celestia: *giggle* Not exactly Luna. I am doing some homework that mother asked to finish for tomorrow. It means I won't have to time for-
L: Aww... But you told me you would play with me today.
C: Yeah, I promised you did I? If you let me finish this in peace, I may come play without an hour. Are you okay with that?
Luna nodded.
C: But you will have to wait outside.
L: Aww...
Luna got off her big sister and trotted to her chamber's door which Celestia opened with the help of her magic. Luna got out and the white alicorn closed the door behind. Finally alone and without distraction, she let out a sigh of relief and resume her writing on the scroll. Until a knock on the door could be heard to which she interrupted her writing.
C: Who is it?
The door muffled the sound of the respondent.
L: Tia? Are you done?
Celestia let out a sigh.
C: Luna... I'll need more time! Go wait for me in your room. I'll joint you later.
Luna let herself a heavy sigh, audible enough from Celestia's side.
L: 'kay. But be quick okay? I.... I feel so lonely without you...
The white alicorn heard her slow hoofsteps going away. This done, she resumed again her writing... but her pen couldn't move. Since Luna's last words, guilt took the best of her. She took a deep breath to clear her mind and tried to concentrate to the floating paper in front of her.
C: I... I got to do this. Mother asked me to...
But her gaze shifted to the door. Guilt took another hit. She gulped air and put her gaze back to the paper. But her mind what somewhere else. She forced herself to stay concentrate. Finally, she closed her eyes and talked to herself.
C: Celestia, you need to concentrate! Concentrate! Focus! Focus!!! She will wait for you and she will learn patience. I-it's will useful for her when she'll be older. But... She is a foal! What foal is patient? Urgh! Concentrate! CONCENTRATE!!! Mother want my paper. Mother awaits my paper. Moth-
She realized something important. Celestia rolled the scroll and put the cover over the inkwell. Then, she got up and galloped to the door. She looked over her shoulder to the unfinished work once last time...
C: I'm sorry mother, but you you'll have to wait for my paper. My little sister can't wait for me. Uh... I mean I can't let me little sister endure this waiting just for a... paper!
She got out and galloped to Luna's room which she opened the door and found her little sister laying on her bed, with a sad face which was quickly replace with a beaming one at her sigh.
C: You don't seriously thought I would let you play alone by yourself don't you? Come on little sis, let's play in the garden.
L: Yay!!!
They both ran outside. Their mother, witness of her elder daughter's let go, simply smiled.
Mother: I am so happy to see that you put your love for your sister over your own duties. I'm proud of you Celestia.
